About the Author

WHEN I BECAME AN ADULT I LEFT CHILDHOOD BEHIND, not really! I am young at heart and I have an active child within. My story begins as a chronologically young adult;

I was drafted into the military during the Viet Nam era and was medically disqualified to serve. With a brother fighting in Viet Nam and a father who served in the Navy and Army during WWII, I was determined to enter the military. It took a few years, but I was finally accepted into the US Navy, and there I stayed for 20 years.

I married, a girl I referred to as my best friend, and she and I had two wonderful children and led loving productive lives for 40 years. Here’s where my story takes a detour bringing me to “The Grey Divorce Zone”.

The above is a passage from my book… This is from my heart.

I have always been a believer in something greater than myself (God), but did not have a personal relationship with my Father in Heaven until my search for answers brought me to an understanding of what our Lord has for each of us.  I now have life’s joy in a personal relationship with my Lord and Savior.

When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy. Psalm 94:19 NIV
